With more than 35 years of experience in record retrieval, law, insurance, customer service, and  business, we know just what you need.

Haven Medicolegal Records Retrieval helps personal injury and malpractice attorneys get complete, organized, court-ready medical records — fast. From authorization through delivery, we handle the retrieval process so your team can spend its time on advocacy, not paperwork. Our records retrieval service built specifically for personal injury and malpractice law firms. We manage authorizations, provider follow-up, quality review, red flag analysis, and secure delivery of medical records and billing documentation, so attorneys always have what they need, when they need it.

We provide all this at a turnaround rate that reduces what was a 3-5 month process into less than 30 days. In fact, we average a 15 day turnaroud which is 87% faster than most firms. Our pricing is a simple flat rate for each record, which will cost your firm less than hiring a full time employee to do the same at a slower pace and with less oversight and typically little to no training or experience. Haven takes medical records retrieval off their plate — completely, compliantly, and fast — so your firm can focus on winning cases.

Our Mission and Vision

Haven's mission is to give personal injury attorneys the fastest, most complete, and most reliable medical records retrieval service in the industry — so their time goes toward advocating for clients, not chasing providers.

We envision a future where no personal injury case is decided by a paperwork delay — where every attorney has immediate, complete, and reliable access to the medical evidence their client's case depends on, so outcomes are determined by the facts, not by administrative friction.

Our future goal is to reduce the revolving door of retrieval specialists hired by law firms and replace them with top tier well paid professionals with extensive training, support, and prior related professional experience that they bring to the table.

Our History

Haven Medicolegal Records Retrieval was founded in 2026 by Emily Williams, with a background as a legal assistant experienced in law, emergency/crisis services, training, onboarding, and insurance. She is currently completing a paralegal degree focused on PI and Malpractice, as well as re-licensing as an Insurance Adjuster. After seeing firsthand and hearing repeatedly from  attorneys how much case time was lost to slow, backlogs, costly incomplete, duplicate orders, or mishandled records requests, she set out to build a records retrieval service designed specifically around the pace and pressure of personal injury and malpractice.

As a Records Division Manager prior to founding, the owner scaled up from 2 to 13 employees in less than 6 months with a 2 week comprehensive employee training period. Employees are all degreed professionals with related medical, database, and customer service experience. Within less than 6 months the team overcame a 10,000 record backlog with a .001% error rate.  The prioritization, ordering, and management systems created to accomplish this are based on 911 Dispatch operations, a paramount example of efficiency and quality, service, and queue management.

Haven launched in Dallas, Texas and is prepared to expand nationwide. We built from the ground up around three priorities: speed, completeness, and airtight compliance. We are proud to bring that focus to every firm we work with — from solo practitioners to multi-attorney practices.
